You are, in fact, aware of the popularity of this video game and would like to put in place some measures to protect your account, but you don't know how to proceed.
How do you say? That's how things are and, therefore, you wonder how to protect fortnite account? In that case, here I am ready to help you: over the next few chapters, I'll explain how to protect your Fortnite account by activating two-factor authentication. In addition, I will also give you some useful tips to protect your Epic Games account.

Protect Fortnite account on PC
From the moment you wonder how to protect fortnite account, I must explain how to activate two-factor authentication: if you have never heard of it, it is a protection measure that allows you to associate a single-use code to the classic account password, in order to avoid unauthorized access. The single-use code, in fact, is requested at every access made by a new device or a new system and is delivered via a device in the user's possession (eg via email on the person's phone or PC).
That said, to activate two-factor authentication on your Fortnite account, connect to the official Epic Games website via any browser for browsing the Internet and press the button Log in, located at the top right. Now, press the button Yes and indicates which device you play on Fortnite, in order to log into your account.
Once logged in, click on you don't know, located in the upper right corner and, in the menu that is shown to you, click on the item Account. Then go to the section Password and Security, to activate two-factor authentication via email or via an authentication app, such as Google Authenticator (Android and iOS).
That said, if you want to activate two-factor authentication via email, click on the button Enable email authentication, then type the confirmation code that will be sent to the e-mail address associated with your account in the field Security code: after entering the code, confirm the operation by first pressing the button Continue and then Done.
If, on the other hand, you want to activate two-factor authentication using an authentication app, I recommend that you download the free app Google Authenticator, which is available for both Android and iOS. Alternatively, apps from LastPass Authenticator (Android / iOS), Microsoft Authenticator (Android / iOS) and Authy (Android / iOS). As an example, however, in the next few lines I will tell you how to use Google Authenticator.
That said, after downloading and launching the app, hit the button Activate the Authenticator app, which you find on the account screen epic Games. Then press the button capacitor positive (+) lead located in the upper right corner and, in the menu that is shown to you, presses on the item Read barcode.
Frame, therefore, the QR code that is shown to you on the page of epic Games via your smartphone or tablet, and this will connect to your account.
At this point, within the app, you will be shown a numeric code: type it in the text field Security code, of the screen that is shown to you on the website of epic Games and press pulsating Attiva.
Also, don't forget to press on the buttons Generate codes e Download Codes, to obtain backup codes useful for accessing your account even without using the authentication app.
Secure Fortnite account on PS4 and other devices
Fortnite is a cross-platform game available on Windows PC and Mac, on video game consoles (PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch), on Android devices and on iPhone and iPad.
On all the platforms mentioned, to play Fortnite, you must have previously created an account epic Games and, in the case of video game consoles, have connected your account PlayStation Network, Xbox Live o Nintendo, in the menu Accounts> Linked Accounts or directly during registration.
That said, if you ask yourself how to secure Fortnite account on PS4 or other devices, you should know that the operations to be performed always concern the activation of two-factor authentication for your account epic Games.

Tips to protect your Fortnite account
After talking to you about two-factor authentication, I want to give you some other useful tips to protect your account epic Games.
The first solution to put in place is to set one secure password. In this regard, to change it, log in to your account epic Games and recati nella sezione Account> Password and security.
Then type yours Current Password in the text field that is shown to you, then type the New password and repeat the new password. Finally, confirm the operation by pressing the button Save Changes.
In this regard, I remind you that, for security reasons, the password must not be the same as one of the last passwords you used. Also, the password must contain at least 7 characters and at least 1 number.
If you have difficulty remembering the passwords you use for your accounts, use a password manager service like the ones I told you about in this guide. I also suggest you read my tutorial on how to make secure passwords.
Other tips that can help you protect your account epic Games involve installing an antivirus software or app. In this regard, if you need some advice about it, read my guide dedicated to the subject.
Also make sure you keep the operating system of your smartphone or computer always updated to the latest version available, to avoid security problems.
I also suggest you to be wary of shared systems: log in to your account epic Games from a shared computer, such as an Internet Point or library, exposes your account to risks, as the security level of these terminals may have been compromised. If so, if you've used a shared computer to log into your account in the past, be sure to change Password, following the instructions I gave you in the previous lines.
